Scenario Generator for Bowl Pick em

I had built a excel file that could run all possible scenarios for our fantasy bowl predictions. In ESPN they require all picks to be done before the first game, but in yahoo, you can make changes for any game right up to game time.

Now I'm thinking about re-writing the scenario generator to go through all possibilities without even knowing who each person chose to win the game and how many confidence points they assigned to each game. Could be interesting...

College Football Bowl Pick 'em

One of the four fantasy sports in the Ultimate Fantasy League is College Football Bowl Pick 'em.

My strategy was quite simple this year, I googled "college football bowl lines and computer projections". I glanced at the first couple hits until I found I site that looked trustworthy and similar to how I might predict them in my head.

Our UFL rules require each person to pick the winner of the game and put a number of "confidence points" on each winner. I ordered the confidence points based on the spread, so for example, the game with the highest spread was my highest confidence pick (worth the most points). I picked several upsets based on computer projections and the little college football I watched over the season.

So far so good, I've only missed one game of 7 so far - the one I missed was worth about 20 points though...

Mobile

I'm testing a post from my phone with the "blogger" app. I'm thinking about how I rarely use a browser to look at my fantasy teams, I usually use the yahoo apps. I wonder what should be added to the apps to have all the same functionality as the browser? Maybe better filters and news?

Welcome to Ultimate Fantasy Tips

Back in 2006, several people that had been playing fantasy sports for many years decided to combine 3 sports into a single "Ultimate Fantasy League". UFL was born and has been going strong for at least 6 years. We've been learning from each other and getting better and better at fantasy, so this is our little blog to share our thoughts in the hopes of not only making our league better - but all fantasy leagues better each and every season. Here's our site with some news and stats: http://www.hovellcreative.com/ufl/
